crunchy chicken nuggets

  • 500 grams chicken thigh or breast
  • 1/2 package savoury crackers such as jatz, ritz or sesame wheat
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup butter milk or regular milk
  • 2tsp paprika
  • 2tsp Shake of Garlic Salt
  • 2tsp mustard powder
  • 50g cubed parmesan cheese

Recipe's preparation

    crunchy chicken nuggets
  1. whisk egg and add to buttermilk/normal milk in a large bowl

    roughly cube up chicken and add to egg wash and leave for about 15 minutes

    grate cubed parmesan 6 secs speed 7

    remove from bowl and set aside in large bowl

    add crackers and pulverise 6 secs speed 7 - turbo pulse if any large bits remain

    add crackers, mustard, paprika, garlic salt and pepper, if you like, to bowl with cheese tossing together with hands

    toss cubes of chicken through crumb mixture and place on lined baking tray

    spray with canola spray oil for crispier browner crumb

    bake in oven 180 degress until golden and cooked through - approximately 15 minutes
