Leek and Potato Bake

Bake

  • 80 grams cheese grated in TMX
  • 1 leek, sliced
  • 600 grams potato, sliced
  • 200 grams cream
  • pinch of nutmeg
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 30 grams butter

Recipe's preparation

  1.  

    Preheat oven to 210 degrees

    Grate cheese, 3-5 seconds on Spd 8, set aside

    Cook leeks with butter for 3mins on 100 degrees, Speed 1

    Add rest of ingredients except cheese and cook for 15-20mins on 100 degrees, Reverse, Soft Speed until soft but not breaking up.

    Pour mixture into baking dish. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for 15 mins.

    Rest for 10 mins before serving

Tip

You can substitute Nutmeg for Cayenne Pepper

Add a clove of garlic (chopped for 5 seconds on Spd 5) with leek, if desired

Ham or bacon can be added too (saute bacon with the leek)
