      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

    Chop
  1. Add pieces of potatoes and pieces of onion to the bowl and chop on 4 for 15secs
  2. Tip out chopped vegetables into a colander or sieve and press out as much water as possible, allow to drain for half an hour
  3. Return to the bowl add 2 eggs, 4 heaped tablespoon self raising flour, 1 teaspoon of salt and a small amount of white pepper
  4. Mix on speed 3 for 10 seconds
  5. Pour oil into a frying pan to cover approx 1cm deep
  6. Drop spoonfuls of the mixture into the oil and fry on both sides until golden
  7. Drain on kitchen paper
  8. To serve, either fresh from the pan or just as good, reheat on a tray in a hot oven for 10 minutes

Ensure you drain as much of the water as possible
