Strawberry Jam Low-carb

Strawberry Jam Low-carb

  • 300 g strawberries, Hulled and halved if large
  • 55 g Sukrin:1
  • 10 g pectin

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place Sukrin:1 into mixing bowl with pectin and mix 10 secs/speed 8.

    2. Add strawberries, place simmering basket on top of bowl instead of measuring cup and cook 14 mins/Counter-clockwise operation/speed 1.

    3. Test for setting point (see tips). Once set, put in warm sterilised jars, seal immediately and allow to cool. Serve or label and store in a cool, dry place.

Accessories you need



Test for setting: place a tsp of jam on a saucer, allow to cool for approximately one minute then push from edge with a fingertip. If a skin has formed and it wrinkles, then setting point has been reached. If not, cook for a further couple of minutes and repeat till setting point is reached.

Depending on the strawberries this is not a hugely sweet jam. If a sweeter result is wanted then add additional Sukrin:1 to taste.
