      Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1- Place the peanuts into Closed lid and chop 8 sec/speed 4
    2- Add the peanut oil or grapeseed oil and mix 8 sec/speed 4. Check for consistency as this is your preference.
    3- if you rather a smoother consistency blend until desired consistency speed 4 adding extra oil through the hole in the mixing bowl lid. Use as needed.
    Store in the fridge for 2/3 weeks.
    If you like a smoother consistency continue chopping in step 1 until the peanuts are reduced to a fine powder speed 3-7 increasing gradually.
    Try using different nuts to create alternative flavours of butter.

    Great recipe! I found I had to blend my peanut mix several times more to get it to the right consistency. I also toasted my salted peanuts before blending which really enhanced the flavour.
