Avocado Pesto

  • 45 grams parsley, Flat leaf
  • 35 grams basil
  • 100 grams feta cheese
  • 1 clove garlic, Or one half
  • 45 gram parmesan
  • 30 grams pine nuts

  • 100 grams olive oil, Or a little less

    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation

  1. Put all ingredients EXCEPT oil into TM for 10seconds speed 7
    Add oil 20 seconds speed 4
    Place in a jar or dish. Use cling film to cover the top of the Pesto so as it will discolour as little as possible. If it does, stir through.
    Delicious as a dip or spread on crackers
    As a sauce: cook pasta, keep a little of the pasta water and stir it through the Pesto, then add the Pesto to the pasta and combine
