- 250 g pasta of choice
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 celery stalk, cut in pieces, 2 cm
- 80 g onions, quartered
- 20 g olive oil
- 250 g turkey mince, broken in pieces
- 200 g passata
- 1 tsp dried mixed herbs
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 250 g milk
- 20 g unsalted butter
- 20 g plain flour
- 1/2 tsp fine sea salt
- 1 pinch ground pepper
- 1 pinch grated nutmeg
- 2 - 3 tbsp Grated Parmesan

TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
- Cook pasta as per packet instructions then transfer to an oven-proof dish (approx. 24 cm x24 cm) andset aside. Meanwhile, prepare bolognese sauce.
- Place garlic, celery, onion and oil in mixing bowl then chop 5 sec/speed 5. Scrape down sides of mixing bowl with spatula then sauté 3 min/120°C/speed 1.
- Add turkeymince and cook 4 min/98°C//speed .
- Add passata, herbs, salt and pepper then cook 3 min/98°C//speed. Stir bolognese sauce into pasta and set aside to keep warm. Wash and dry mixing bowl.
- Place milk, butter, flour, salt, pepper and nutmeg in mixing bowl then cook 8 min/90°C/speed 4. Meanwhile, preheat grill to 200°C.
- Once bechamel sauce is prepared, pour over bolognese and pasta. Sprinkle with cheese then grill for 4-6minutes (200°C)until golden brown. Serve hot -delicious with a side salad or garlic bread.
