Golden Milk (Turmeric Tea)
- .25 teaspoon Ground Ginger or a tiny piece of fresh ginger peeled
- 1 teaspoon turmeric
- .5 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Maple syrup, optional
- 1 pinch Black Pepper (tiniest pinch), to increase absorption
- 350g Non-dairy milk of choice, Almond, Coconut, Soya all work well

Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe's preparation
- Measure in the milk and then place all remaining ingredients into the mixing bowl.
- Blend for 30 seconds Speed 8.
- Heat for 8 minutes on 80, speed 3.
- Froth with a milk frother if you like and have one.
- Strain into your favourite mug.

Adjust the spices to your taste. Feel free to add cloves (ground or whole) and ground cardamon.
