TM 5Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
Insert Butterfly whisk. Pour pure cream into the mixing bowl, beat for 1-3mins/speed 4 or for as long as it takes the solids to separate from the liquid.
Remove the butterfly whisk
Place the simmering basket over a bowl, pour the contents of the into the simmerng basket and drain off the liquid. Reserve the buttermilk for future uses.
Place the solids back into the , add the water and mix for 10-15 sec/speed 4. The solids will separate from the liquid. Pour solids into the simmering basket and drain. I do not reserve this liquid for future use at this stage.
Place solids back into the , add the salt and grapeseed oil. Mix for 5-10sec/speed 4.
Either roll into shape or place into jar/container for use. Refrigerate
